Outlook is currently working on three separate rail-related projects. Two of these are for Passenger Focus: one looking at the age-old issue of queueing inside busier stations; the other testing customer reactions to the proposed new Thameslink train designs. We are also pleased to be working with National Express East Coast, having begun an ongoing research programme looking at their marketing effectiveness.

We donned our qualitative walking boots and hit the streets of London in December as part of a project for TfL on ‘Legible London’ - this involves developing walking map solutions for Londoners.

Diane spotted Paul Young with partner and baby coming out of our offices in Camden, and flew back from America with Steve Davis and partner. Chris and Rob got very hot under the collar when they had lunch in Wagamamas, Camden, on the table next to the lovely Jodie Marsh and Martin felt very glad not to be naked when he saw Gok Juan outside LWT.

We tested our sea legs on Friday with a day out in a boat on the river Thames at Goring. Despite some very near misses and a close encounter with a tree we managed to commandeer our vessel up the river and back in time for lunch.

Outlook came over all Italian in February when we all attended an Italian
cookery day. Under the watchful eye of our head chef, we chopped, kneaded
and mixed the morning away and then in true Italian Style, sat down to enjoy
our hard work over a long lunch. Bravissimo!

The Outlook annual Christmas extravaganza this year involved a weekend trip to Vienna. No sightings of Midge Ure, but plenty of culture, Christmas markets and some wonderful food.

As part of an ongoing commitment to the environment, Outlook is currently undertaking a widescale review into how to become carbon neutral. As well as a comprehensive recycling scheme which is now in place, this will also mean adapting our travel arrangements and reviewing our energy usage.
